Cytomedix files for $50 million debt, stock shelf

WASHINGTON, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Biotechnology company Cytomedix Inc (GTF.A) filed with regulators on Monday to periodically sell up to $50 million in debt securities, preferred and common stock, and other securities.

Cytomedix said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it will use proceeds from the offering for working capital and other general corporate purposes.

The company also registered through the filing another 2.94 million shares to be offering by stockholders. (Reporting by Karey Wutkowski)
