HEADLINE STOCKS-U.S. stocks on the move on June 3

NEW YORK, June 3 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks on the move on June 3:
AETNA INC (AET.N)
The health insurance company late Tuesday cut its 2009 earnings outlook, citing higher projected medical costs for its commercial business serving employers and lower revenue from its Medicare plans for seniors. [ID:nN02117847]
Shares sank 8.5 percent to $24.94.
TOLL BROTHERS INC (TOL.N)
The company reported an adjusted second-quarter loss that was narrower than expected. [ID:nBNG467568]
Shares slid 2.6 percent to $19.02.
WILLIAMS-SONOMA INC (WSM.N)
The company reported a first-quarter loss that was narrower than expected. [ID:nN03544663]
Shares fell 4.3 percent to $14.07.
JPMORGAN CHASE & CO (JPM.N)
The bank is disbanding the hedge fund and private equity units of its stand-alone Principal Investment Management Group and shifting staff from this unit to sit within existing businesses, according to a person familiar with the reorganization. [ID:nN03545275]
Shares of the Dow component rose 1.2 percent to $34.92.
PEPSICO INC (PEP.N)
The soft drink company late Tuesday hinted that it could
walk away from its proposed takeover of Pepsi Bottling Group
Inc (PBG.N), even as the bottler attempted to make a case for a
higher bid. [ID:nN02518140]
Shares of PepsiCo slid 0.2 percent to $54.89 while Pepsi Bottling fell 0.7 percent to $33.76.
AGRIUM INC (AGU.N)
CF INDUSTRIES HOLDINGS INC (CF.N)
Agrium affirmed its offer for CF Industries, which is for $40 per share in cash, as well as one Agrium shares for each CF share. Based on the June 2 closing price, the offer has a current value of $89.01 per CF share, Agrium said. [ID:nN03495472]
U.S.-listed shares of Agrium fell 3.2 percent to $47.48 while CF shares fell 2.8 percent to $77.66.
APPLE INC (AAPL.O)
Collins Stewart upgraded the company shares to buy, saying it remained "in pole position to monetize the revenue opportunity for mobile Internet devices."
Shares rose 0.9 percent to $140.65.
EBAY INC (EBAY.O)
Collins Stewart upgraded the company shares to buy and said it was showing "many signs of a turnaround in core marketplace."
Shares slid 0.3 percent to $17.90.
EXXON MOBIL CORP (XOM.N)
Malaysian state-owned oil company Petronas [PETR.UL] signed a production-sharing agreement with a unit of Exxon for a $2.1 billion deal to develop seven existing offshore oil fields. [ID:nKLR480952]
Shares of Exxon, a Dow component, slid 0.9 percent to $72.23.
AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL GROUP INC (AIG.N)
The company's efforts to sell its aircraft-leasing unit are facing headwinds and it may need help from the U.S. government in order to reach a deal, according to a report in the New York Post. [ID:nBNG459520]
Shares of the insurer fell 3.9 percent to $1.50.
Tessera Technologies Inc (TSRA.O)
The company said Motorola (MOT.N) signed an agreement to
license its technology and settle all outstanding litigation
between the companies. [ID:nBNG466224]
Shares rose 6.3 percent to $25.98. Motorola shares fell 1.7 percent to $6.30.
STONE ENERGY CORP (SGY.N)
The company discovered about 125 feet of net hydrocarbon in its deepwater Pyrenees Prospect, in which it has a 15 percent working interest. [ID:nBNG498185]
Shares rose 8.6 percent to $9.71 in trading after the bell.
STEEL DYNAMICS INC (STLD.O)
The company slashed its quarterly dividend by 25 percent, and said it plans to offer 27 million of its common shares and $150 million of convertible senior notes due 2014 to repay debt. [ID:nBNG498001]
Shares fell 8.2 percent to $14.31.
APPLIED SIGNAL TECHNOLOGY INC (APSG.O)
The company, which provides intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services, posted better-than-expected quarterly results, helped by higher royalty revenue and lower stock-based compensation expense. [ID:nBNG464930]
Shares rose 17 percent to $25.72.
BLUE COAT SYSTEMS INC (BCSI.O)
The Internet-monitoring equipment maker posted a fourth-quarter loss and it forecast first-quarter results largely in line with market estimates. [ID:nBNG498420]
Shares fell 2.6 percent to $15.25.
BOB EVANS FARMS INC (BOBE.O)
The restaurant chain operator posted a better-than-expected quarterly profit, helped by lower food and labor costs at its restaurants. [ID:nBNG458884]
Shares rose 14 percent at $30.48.
