Spectra units say Sable Island natgas field reduced
NEW YORK, June 4 (Reuters) - Spectra Energy (SE.N) units Maritimes Canada and Maritimes U.S. said in separate website postings that the Sable Island Offshore Energy Project in Nova Scotia had encountered a decrease in production expected to continue into Thursday.
According to the company's website, the Sable Project is owned by Exxon Mobil (XOM.N), Shell (RDSa.L), Imperial Oil (IMO.TO), Pengrowth Energy Trust (PGH.N) and Mosbacher Operating Ltd.
A spokesman for the project was not immediately available to determine how much flows had been reduced to.
The project normally produces between 400 million and 500 million cubic feet of natural gas and 20,000 barrels of natural gas liquids per day. (Reporting by Eileen Moustakis)
