Alon reports Big Spring hydrotreater upset -filing

HOUSTON, June 8 (Reuters) - Alon (ALJ.N) reported flaring on Monday at its 70,000-barrel per day (bpd) Big Spring, Texas, refinery after a diesel hydrotreater and an LDH unit overpressured, according to a notice filed with Texas pollution regulators.

Operators adjusted refinery operations to reduce the pressure, according to the notice filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
