 NEW YORK, June 8 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks to watch on
Monday:
 JPMORGAN CHASE & CO (JPM.N)
 GOLDMAN SACHS GROUP INC (GS.N)
 The U.S. Federal Reserve is expected to say that the two
financial services company will be allowed to repay TARP money,
according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

 Shares of Goldman fell 1 percent to $147.57 in premarket
trading while Dow component JPMorgan was down 1 percent to
$34.20.
 MCDONALD'S CORP (MCD.N)
 The fast food giant reported an increase of 5.1 percent in
its May same-store sales and a drop of 0.4 percent in its
global systemwide sales. [ID:nN08309089]
 Shares of the Dow component fell 1.2 percent to $59.16 in
premarket trade.
 GENERAL MILLS INC (GIS.N)
 The food company expects 2009 earnings to exceed its prior
outlook of $3.87 to $3.89 a share by several cents per share.

 The stock rose 1.8 percent to $53.11 in premarket trading.
 QWEST COMMUNICATIONS INTERNATIONAL INC (Q.N)
 The company completed the strategic review of its long
distance network assets and affirmed its full-year outlook.

 Shares sank 4.3 percent to $3.99 in premarket trading.
 AT&T INC (T.N)
 Goldman Sachs removed AT&T from its Americas Conviction Buy
list, "given recent underperformance as investors have rotated
out of later cycle telecom stocks."
 Shares of the Dow component, closed Friday at $24.56.
 GLAXOSMITHKLINE (GSK.N)
 The company's experimental diabetes drug was shown to be
more effective than Eli Lilly (LLY.N) and Amylin
Pharmaceuticals' (AMLN.O) Byetta in controlling blood sugar, a
mid-stage test unveiled on Sunday. [ID:nL5159781]
 U.S.-listed shares of Glaxo slid 0.9 percent to $32.72 in
premarket trading.
 BLACKROCK (BLK.N)
 Barclays Plc (BARC.L) (BCS.N) is in talks to sell its
Barclays Global Investors unit, with BlackRock the frontrunner
to buy it for about $12 billion. [ID:nL8414031]
 Shares of BlackRock rose 0.2 percent to $164.05 in
premarket trading.
 VERTEX PHARMACEUTICALS INC (VRTX.O)
 The company will exchange $103.3 million of its 2013
convertible senior subordinated notes into common stock.

 Shares closed Friday at $30.78.
 HOME DEPOT INC (HD.N)
 The company's stock "looks like a bargain," Barron's wrote,
arguing that the home improvement retailer had slowed expansion
and attempted to improve customer service. [ID:nN07251889]
 Shares of the Dow component closed Friday at $24.17.
 ALLSTATE CORP (ALL.N)
 Shares of the insurance company could be due to extend a
recent rally after it cut back its risk and focused on auto and
homeowner policies, Barron's wrote. [ID:nN07274408]
 Shares closed Friday at $25.05.
 PIEDMONT NATURAL GAS CO INC (PNY.N)
 The company reported a 10 percent rise in quarterly profit
and backed its full-year profit view. [ID:nBNG464398]
 Shares rose 1 percent to $23.93 in after-hours trading on
Friday.
