UPDATE 1-Citigroup Canada unit prices C$400 mln MTN

TORONTO, Nov 9 (Reuters) - A Canadian unit of Citigroup Inc (C.N) has priced a C$400 million ($377 million) three-year medium-term note, according to a term sheet seen by Reuters on Monday.

It said Citigroup Finance Canada Inc priced a 4.9 percent note due Nov. 13, 2012, at C$99.884 to yield 4.942 percent, or 303.8 basis points over the Canadian government benchmark.

The underwriting syndicate included the investment dealer arms of Royal Bank of Canada (RY.TO), Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD.TO), Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS.TO), Bank of Montreal (BMO.TO) and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CM.TO).
