NEW YORK, July 10 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks to watch on Friday:

CHEVRON CORP (CVX.N)

The oil giant warned that second-quarter earnings would be hit by a sharp decline in U.S. refining margins and that any benefits from higher oil prices were largely offset by a weaker U.S. dollar. [ID:nN09478562]

Shares of the Dow component closed Thursday at $63.08.

JPMORGAN CHASE & CO (JPM.N)

The company intends to auction stock warrants issued to the Treasury. [ID:nWEN0432]

Shares fell 1.2 percent to $33.20 in premarket trading.

UBS AG (UBSN.VX)(UBS.N)

The Swiss bank braced on Friday for a high-stakes trial in the United States next week that could force it to reveal secret client data, as a last-minute deal remained elusive. It was unclear whether UBS, one of the world's largest wealth managers, could reach a settlement to the damaging tax row before a court hearing starts, weighing on its shares. [ID:nLA315492]

U.S.-listed shares of UBS fell 2.6 percent to $11.63 in premarket trading.

MERCK & CO INC (MRK.N)

Merck late Thursday said U.S. regulators had widened the approved use of its Isentress HIV treatment to include patients who have not yet been treated for infections with the virus that causes AIDS. [ID:nN09483987]

Shares of Merck, a Dow component, closed Thursday at $27.01.

IBM CORP (IBM.N)

Goldman Sachs downgraded the company to "neutral" from "buy," expecting the focus of the market to shift from earnings resiliency to growth and leverage.
