Valero says Tex City FCC still in repair
NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Leading U.S. refiner Valero Energy Corp (VLO.N) said on Thursday that repair work continues on a gasoline-making fluid catalytic cracker unit at its 218,500 barrel-per-day Texas City, Texas, oil refinery.
"Work is still ongoing at Texas City's FCC," company spokesman Bill Day said in an email without elaborating.
The unit was shut Oct. 25 for the work to fix a valve. Valero at the time did not estimate how long the repairs would last. (Reporting by Haitham Haddadin)
