Exxon says Baytown FCC boiler remains shut for work

NEW YORK, July 13 (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N) said Monday a boiler linked to gasoline-making Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit No. 3 at its 572,0000 barrel-per-day Baytown, Texas refinery remained down for planned work after it was shut late last week.

"This boiler is still down and we don't have an estimate on when it will be back up," Exxon spokeswoman Neely Nelson told Reuters.

The boiler outage "is not impacting production and customer needs are being met as this one of several boilers in FCC No. 3," she added.

In a filing July 10 with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Exxon said the FCC boiler will be shut that day for planned maintenance, noting associated emissions may last through July 12. (Reporting by Haitham Haddadin; Editing by John Picinich)
