Alon Paramount refinery at full ops after outage

NEW YORK, June 15 (Reuters) - Alon USA Energy Inc's (ALJ.N) 54,000 barrel-per-day Paramount, California, refinery recovered to full operations right after a power outage hit it on Saturday, a company spokesman said Sunday.

"The outage came from the city side for few minutes yesterday morning, and we came up back to full operations right away," spokesman Joseph Israel said.

The refinery was hit by a power outage on Saturday, according to a notice filed with California pollution regulators and triggered the refinery's safety flare system.

The Paramount refinery is a leading producer of asphalt. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
