NEW YORK, June 16 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks on the move on Tuesday:
BEST BUY CO INC (BBY.N)
The company reported first-quarter earnings that beat expectations but a drop in its U.S. same-store sales. [ID:nN16210900]
Shares sank 6.8 percent to $36.12.
NUCOR CORP (NUE.N)
The steel company forecast a second-quarter loss that was narrower than expectations, citing a recent pickup in orders in its view. [ID:nN16272779]
Shares surged 3 percent to $47.14.
WENDYS/ARBY'S GROUP (WEN.N)
Shares of the fast food company slipped 0.3 percent to $3.91 after it signed an expansion agreement with a Saudi Arabia-based group. [ID:nN16263594]
ASHFORD HOSPITALITY TRUST INC (AHT.N)
Shares sank 18 percent to $3.15, hurt by mounting problems for the company's hotel lending portfolio after U.S. hotel chain Extended Stay Hotels filed Chapter 11. [ID:nN16388554]
MATRIXX INITIATIVES (MTXX.O)
Regulators warned the company to stop selling zinc-containing, intranasal versions of its Zicam cold remedy after more than 130 reports of people losing their sense of smell. [ID:nN16287028]
