NEW YORK, June 17 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks on the move on Wednesday:
FEDEX CORP (FDX.N)
The shipping company reported fourth-quarter results and forecast an "extremely difficult" operating environment for the first two quarters of its fiscal year. [ID:nN17132005]
Shares fell 1.6 percent to $50.62.
TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INC (TXN.N)
Bank of America-Merrill Lynch upgraded the stock to "buy," saying it expects a margin expansion at the company to be well above the Wall Street view.
Shares rose 3.6 percent to $21.49.
U.S. BANCORP (USB.N)
BB&T CORP (BBT.N)
The banks repaid billions of dollars in government bailout funds, the first of the large banks to do so.
U.S. Bancorp also applied to buy back a 10-year warrant for its common stock issued to the government as part of the original bailout. [ID:nN17333227]
Shares of U.S. Bancorp rose 0.3 percent to $17.92 while BB&T sank 2.3 percent to $21.71.
CISCO SYSTEMS INC (CSCO.O)
The company's chief executive officer said he had seen businesses level out in the past 150 days in an interview on CNBC. [ID:nWEN0667]
