Nordstrom CFO says to increase debt level

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Nordstrom Inc. (JWN.N) Chief Financial Officer Mike Koppel said on Monday that the upscale department store retailer should increase its debt level somewhat.

"We have concluded that Nordstrom should add a moderate amount of leverage," Koppel said on a conference call with analysts to discuss the company's quarterly results.
