NEW YORK, May 21 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks on the move on Thursday:
BANK OF AMERICA CORP (BAC.N)
The bank wants to repay $45 billion in government bail-out funds by the end of the year, according to a report in the Financial Times. [ID:nN20542015]
Shares of the Dow component rose 0.4 percent to $11.54.
BOEING CO (BA.N)
The Dow component affirmed its full-year earnings outlook and said it didn't anticipate any large acquisition transactions in 2009. [ID:nN21261613]
Shares of the Dow component fell 3.4 percent to $43.05.
SONY CORP
The electronics retailer said it would halve the number of its suppliers over the next two years, and is aiming to cut its procurement costs by 20 percent this year. [ID:nBNG398847]
U.S.-listed shares of Sony fell 1.5 percent to $25.73.
HORMEL FOODS CORP (HRL.N)
The food company reported an increase in its second-quarter earnings and forecast full-year results to be at the upper end of its previously announced outlook. [ID:nN21514211]
Shares rose 1.5 percent to $33.45.
SUNTECH POWER HOLDINGS INC (STP.N)
The company reported a surprise first-quarter profit and forecast moderate revenue growth in the second quarter. It also announced a follow-on public offering of 20 million ADSs. [ID:nBNG24881]
Shares fell 11 percent to $14.08.
BARNES & NOBLE INC (BKS.N)
The company reported a first-quarter loss that was narrower than expected and gave a second-quarter outlook. [ID:nN21193069]
Shares rose 1.8 percent to $24.31.
BROCADE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS INC (BRCD.O)
The company reported first-quarter results that beat expectations and said it was confident it could beat its previous full-year forecast. [ID:nN21535043]
Shares rose 13.6 percent to $7.08.
BON-TON STORES INC (BONT.O)

Shares rose 1.7 percent to $4.26.
GAMESTOP CORP (GME.N)

Shares sank 15.6 percent to $22.34.

HUNTINGTON BANCSHARES INC (HBAN.O)
