Shares of Boeing Co (BA.N) fell in premarket trading on Wednesday, after the planemaker reported a third-quarter net loss.
The loss came on charges related to the company's first three 787 flight-test planes, as well as its 747 program.

The stock, a Dow component, fell 2.7 percent to $50.50 in premarket trading.

Shares of CombinatoRx Inc (CRXX.O) soared in premarket trading on Wednesday after the company said its knee-pain drug Synavive maintained efficacy throughout a 12-month phase II knee osteoarthritis extension trial.

King Pharmaceuticals Inc (KG.N) said on Wednesday the Food and Drug Administration declined to approve the company's heart imaging agent.
Earlier this year, an advisory panel to the FDA rejected the imaging drug data, saying it failed to show that it was as effective as an approved product.
