 NEW YORK, Sept 24 (Reuters) -U.S. stocks to watch on
Wednesday:
 GOLDMAN SACHS (GS.N)
 Shares of Goldman Sachs rose 8.4 percent to $135.56 in
extended trade on Tuesday after the investment bank said Warren
Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway was investing $5 billion in the
company.

 SUNTECH POWER (STP.N)
 SUNPOWER CORP SPWR.O
 Solar energy companies SunPower Corp and Suntech Power rose
in extended trade on Tuesday after the U.S. Senate approved a
package to extend $18 billion in tax credits for use of
renewable energy resources.
 SunPower shares rose to $89.50, up 2.2 percent from their
closing level at $87.51, while SunTech Power shares added 2.3
percent to $41.39 after closing at $40.45. For details, see

 CAPITAL ONE FINANCIAL CORP (COF.N)
 The credit card and banking company, said on Tuesday it
expected to add $200 million this quarter to its reserves for
bad loans, but affirmed its 2008 financial outlook.

 Shares closed at $53.72 on the New York Stock Exchange.
 WORTHINGTON INDUSTRIES INC (WOR.N)
 The metals processor posted quarterly profit that more than
tripled topping analysts' expectations, helped by strong sales
at its metal framing and steel processing segments and
cost-cutting measures. [ID:nBNG357379]
 Shares of the company rose more than 6 percent at $17.65
after the bell.
H.B. FULLER CO (FUL.N)
The specialty chemical maker posted a third-quarter profit
that met analysts' revised estimates, after the company's
preliminary earnings report warned of lower profit due to

 Shares of the company closed down 3 percent at $22.99
Tuesday on NYSE.
LYDALL INC (LDL.N)
The diversified manufacturer said it will close its Vermont
facility, affecting 190 jobs, and consolidate its North
American automotive production into its North Carolina

 Shares of the Manchester, Connecticut-based company closed
down 2 percent at $10.04 Tuesday on the NYSE.
HARLEYSVILLE GROUP INC (HGIC.O)
The property and casualty insurer said it will incur a
charge in the third quarter tied to its exposure to Lehman
Brothers Holdings Inc's (LEHMQ.PK) senior unsecured notes.

 Shares of Harleysville closed at $38.52 Tuesday on Nasdaq.
HELIX ENERGY SOLUTIONS GROUP INC (HLX.N)
The operator of offshore oil and gas properties said it does
not expect to meet its production outlook for 2008 due to the
impact of Hurricanes Gustav and Ike. [ID:nBNG292487]
 Shares of the company were down about 3 percent at $26.76
in after-hours trade.
CBRL GROUP INC (CBRL.O)
The parent of the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
restaurants and gift shops said all of the Cracker Barrel units
were open and operating, after some of them had been shut

 Shares of the company closed down 2 percent at $27.43
