Russia bans meat from three US plants -USDA
CHICAGO, June 26 (Reuters) - Russia has banned pork from two Farmland Foods plants and chicken from one Sanderson Farms Inc (SAFM.O) plant beginning July 8, USDA said on Friday.
The USDA report gave no reason for the bans.
The affected Farmland plants are in Denison, Iowa, and Monmouth, Illinois. The Sanderson plant is in Laurel, Mississippi.
Farmland is a unit of Smithfield Foods Inc (SFD.N).
