STATE STREET CORP (STT.N)
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission provided the company's principal subsidiary with a "Wells" notice related to an ongoing SEC investigation into the disclosure and management by State Street global advisors of certain active fixed-income strategies during 2007 and prior periods. Shares fell 3 percent to $36.89 in premarket trading.
UBS AG (UBS.N)
The bank will pay $2.77 billion to $4.62 billion in the next two weeks to settle a tax probe, according to Swiss newspaper Sonntag. [ID:nLS407218]
U.S-listed shares fell 2.8 percent to $11.96 in premarket trading.

Enterprise will buy Teppco in a deal that would form the largest U.S. publicly traded energy partnership.
Under the terms of the agreement, unit holders of TEPPCO will receive 1.24 Enterprise common units for each of their units, a 9.3 percent premium to their closing price on Friday. [ID:nN29374081]
