BRIEF-PGS raises NOK 790 mln in private placement

OSLO, May 28 (Reuters) - PGS (PGS.OL) said on Thursday:

* Makes private placement priced at nok 36.50 (vs wednesday closing at 37.75)

* Has issued 18 mln new shares, sold 3,63 mln own shares
