UPDATE 1-Sinopec Jinling to cut July runs by 12 pct on repair
(adds details)
BEIJING, July 8 (Reuters) - Sinopec Corp (600028.SS)(0386.HK) (SNP.N) will scale back crude processing at its Jinling refinery in July by around 12 percent from June because of regular maintenance of some secondary facilities, an industry source said on Wednesday.
The 270,000-barrel-per-day (bpd) plant would process around 240,200 bpd in July after operating at capacity in June, the source said.
"Crude oil units will continue operations but with lower throughput," the source said.
The approximate one-month overhaul, which includes maintenance of a 1.2 million-tonne-per-year (tpy) catalytic cracker, a 1.2 million tpy delayed coking unit and other downstream units, is expected to be completed by the end of the month. (Reporting by Jim Bai and Tom Miles; Editing by Chris Lewis)
