BRUSSELS, Nov 3 (Reuters) - The following are planned mergers under review by the European Commission and a brief guide to the EU merger process:
APPROVALS AND WITHDRAWALS:
-- Dutch fresh produce group Univeg Holding BV, controlled by Luxembourg-based private equity firm CVC Capital Partners, and F.lli Ciccolella, an Italian firm that grows and sells cut flowers and potted plants, acquire joint control over Univeg Holding's flower and plant activities (approved Nov. 3)
NEW LISTINGS:
-- Finland's top mobile phones maker Nokia Corp (NOK1V.HE) and Germany's global business software specialist SAP AG (SAPG.DE), take joint control of a newly formed joint venture, 'Newco', in Germany to offer product authentication and anti-counterfeit services to business customers and government authorities (notified Oct 29/deadline Dec 4/simp,lified)
