Hyundai chairman steps down as Kia board member
SEOUL, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Chung Mong-koo, who heads the Hyundai Motor (005830.KS) group, will step down as executive board member of affiliate Kia Motors Corp (000270.KS), the company said on Thursday, but plans to stay on as Kia's chairman.
Company officials said the decision would have to be made official at Kia's annual shareholder meeting on March 6.
