SEOUL, July 1 (Reuters) - The chief executive of South Korea's Hana Bank said on Wednesday its first-half results were in bad shape, with deteriorating net interest margins and loan delinquency ratio, but it would likely return to the black in the current quarter.

"Now that foreign exchange rates have been stabilising compared with the level at the end of last year, we expect to swing to a profit during the third quarter," Kim Jung-tai, Hana Bank's chief executive, was quoted as saying in a speech to employees.

Hana is the country's No. 4 lender and a key unit of South Korea's Hana Financial Group (086790.KS).
