Seoul shares gain led by techs; Hyundai Corp falls

SEOUL, May 15 (Reuters) - Seoul shares rose on Friday after a positive finish on Wall Street with gains led by tech issues including LG Elec (066570.KS), but Hyundai Corp (011760.KS) tumbled after news late on Wednesday its sale fell through.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) was up 0.98 percent to 1,394.51 points as of 0005 GMT.
