THE STRAITS TIMES

- The government will let Singaporeans use a larger portion of money in their Medisave accounts to settle private hospital bills. Medisave is a compulsory savings scheme for workers.

- A teacher in her early thirties who is a mother of two has pleaded guilty to having sex with a 15-year-old student. She will be sentenced later this month.

BUSINESS TIMES

- MacarthurCook Industrial REIT (MCRT.SI) is still in talks with lenders to roll oveer a S$221 million ($148 million) debt facility due in April.

- Rickmers Maritime (RIMT.SI) posted a 23 percent fall in fourth quarter net profit to $7.2 million due to a $3.5 million impairment charge. But distribution for the quarter remained unchanged from July-September at 2.25 U.S. cents a unit.
