June 22 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 2000 GMT on Monday.

** Anglo American (AAL.L) rejected rival mining group Xstrata's (XTA.L) "merger of equals" proposal, knocking a no-premium marriage and a combination with what it regards as Xstrata's inferior mines.

** Drugmakers Merck & Co (MRK.N) and Schering-Plough Corp SGP.N have received requests from U.S. antitrust regulators for more information on their proposed blockbuster merger.

** Lufthansa (LHAG.DE) made headway on Monday on wrapping up its acquisitions of Brussels Airlines and BMI British Midland after it addressed competition concerns voiced by the European Commission. [ID:nLM114630]

** Singapore Petroleum Co (SPC) SPCS.SI said PetroChina (0857.HK) will make a mandatory conditional cash offer to acquire all the issued and fully paid shares in SPC at S$6.25 each. [nSGC001189]

** Spain's Criteria (CRIT.MC) said it had ended talks with France's Suez Environnement SEVI.MC over its stake in water and services group Agbar (AGS.MC) without reaching an agreement. [ID:nMDT006495]

** Porsche (PSHG_p.DE) could be running out of options to repair its finances, with Berlin set to reject its request for a state loan and a purported stake sale to Daimler (DAIGn.DE) unlikely, analysts said. [ID:nLM720161]

** Industrial property landlord Segro Plc (SGRO.L) agreed an all-share offer for indebted rival Brixton Plc (BXTN.L), owner of industrial and logistics property near Heathrow airport, Segro said. [ID:nLM677048]

** China National Chemical Corp (ChemChina), the mainland's top chemical producer, has retained JPMorgan (JPM.N) to advise it on a bid for Dow Chemical's (DOW.N) agrosciences unit, sources said. [ID:nLM145131]

** Bank of East Asia (0023.HK) has bought into AIG's (AIG.N) Taiwanese brokerage unit, making it the first Hong Kong bank to invest in a securities brokerage in Taiwan, the companies said. [ID:nTP89976]

** Israeli holding company Koor Industries Ltd (KOR.TA) is planning to invest up to 3.5 billion shekels ($886 million) in France's Carrefour SA (CARR.PA) and to rebuild its stake in Credit Suisse Group AG (CSGN.VX). [ID:nLM694262]

** GOME Electrical Appliances (0493.HK), a top China electronics retailer, said it planned to raise not less than HK$3.24 billion (US$418 million) by issuing convertible bonds to Bain Capital and a new share offering. [ID:nHKG67337]

** Spain's Criteria could increase its stake in Bank of East Asia (0023.HK) to 20 percent, the investment vehicle of savings bank La Caixa said in a statement. [ID:nLM117412]
