Singapore Hot Stocks-NOL in focus on $972 mln rights issue
SINGAPORE, June 2 (Reuters) - Singapore's Neptune Orient
Lines (NEPS.SI) may be in focus on Tuesday after the world's
seventh-largest container shipping firm said it plans to raise
$972 million from a rights issue.
U.S. stocks rose on Monday, sending the S&P 500 to its
highest close in seven months, as reassuring economic data
reinforced hopes that demand will stabilise, while General
Motors' (GM.N) long-expected bankruptcy filing ended
uncertainty about the automaker's fate.
