June 1 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 1330 GMT on Monday.

** Goldman Sachs (GS.N) was selling up to about $1.9 billion worth of shares in Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (1398.HK)(601398.SS) at a discount of 4 percent to 6 percent below its Monday closing price, according to a term sheet.

** Dutch mail company TNT NV (TNT.AS) said it had not yet made a bid for Britain's Royal Mail [GBPO.UL], but said it was interested in the company and would consult shareholders if it does make an offer. [ID:nL1420088]

** Cal Dive International Inc (DVR.N) said its majority shareholder Helix Energy Solutions Group Inc (HLX.N) intends to reduce stake to 25 percent and offer 20 million Cal Dive common shares. [ID:nBNG444545]

** MDS Inc (MDS.TO) said it planned to narrow its contract research focus by selling its late stage operations and central laboratory divisions. [ID:nN01447401]

** U.S.-focused energy company Nighthawk Energy Plc (NGTE.L) said it would get up to $40 million from the sale of its stake in the Jolly Ranch project in Colorado to San Severina Holdings SA, a Swiss-based investment company. [ID:nBNG416837]

** Swedish activist investor Cevian Capital said it had taken a 4.1 percent stake in Anglo-South African insurer Old Mutual (OML.L), arguing the market had undervalued the company's shares. [ID:nL1413084]

** Nigeria's government revoked the sale of former state telecoms monopoly Nitel to Transcorp Plc (TCNP.LG), saying the local company was unable to meet the sale contract terms. [ID:nL1617844]

** Storage technology company Emulex Corp (ELX.N) spotlighted last year's indictment of Broadcom Corp (BRCM.O) co-founder Henry Nicholas III on drug-related and stock-options back-dating charges, in its latest effort to fend off a $764 million hostile bid. [ID:nN01443012]

** Nickel and gold explorer Dwyka Resources Ltd DWY.AX DWY.L said it was in advanced talks for a possible all-share offer, valued at not less than 1 pence a share, for British mineral explorer Minerva Resources Plc (MVA.L). [ID:nBNG477690]

** Egypt's Orascom Telecom Holdings (ORTE.CA) (ORTEq.L) and Rojhan Capital have expressed interest in acquiring the Pakistani operations of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS.L), RBS said. [ID:nSIN85893]

** Shares in Bharati Shipyard (BHAR.BO) soared almost 10 percent in early trade while Great Offshore (GOFS.BO) rose 5.23 percent after the shipbuilder said it will make an open offer to acquire shares in the latter. [ID:nBMB005408]
