Australia Port Hedland June iron ore shipments dip

SYDNEY, July 8 (Reuters) - Iron ore shipments from Australia's Port Hedland slipped slightly in June to 13.02 million tonnes from 13.09 million the previous month, port figures showed on Wednesday.

The port handles BHP Billiton Ltd's (BLT.L: 株価, 企業情報, レポート) (BHP.AX: 株価, 企業情報, レポート) and Fortescue Metals Group's (FMG.AX: 株価, 企業情報, レポート) production from Western Australia's Pilbara region and is one of the country's two iron ore export ports. (Reporting by Jonathan Standing)
