Bluescope to delay Australia blast furnace restart

MELBOURNE, May 27 (Reuters) - Bluescope Steel Ltd (BSL.AX), Australia's largest steelmaker, said on Wednesday it would defer the restart of its Port Kembla No.5 blast furnace in Australia until market conditions improved.

Bluescope said a decision on the restart of the furnace, which was originally planned for mid-June, was not expected before Aug. 17.
