SYDNEY, Sept 25 (Reuters) - Australian conglomerate
Wesfarmers Ltd (WES.AX) will be meeting international bond
investors the week of Oct. 5, it said on Friday.
The non-deal roadshows are part of an annual Australasian conference hosted by JPMorgan in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Seventeen top Australian and New Zealand companies, including Amcor (AMC.AX), BHP Billiton (BHP.AX)(BLT.L), Insurance Australia Group (IAG.AX), Origin Energy (ORG.AX), Paladin Energy (PDN.AX), Telecom NZ (TEL.NZ), Westfield (WDC.AX), Woolworths (WOW.AX) will participate in this year's conference, a source familiar with the event said.
Wesfarmers will hold investor meetings in New York on Oct 5-6, and Edinburgh on Oct. 8-9.
Wesfarmers paid A$19 billion for Coles in 2007, much of it financed by debt.
It sold earlier in the month A$500 million in bonds in a five-year offer that was twice-oversubscribed and at a price that was tighter than anticipated.
Since then, the bond margin has significantly narrowed to 193 basis points over swap, from 260 bps at the time of issue, as credit sentiment improved.
