Australia's Perpetual sees 2009 earnings falling
SYDNEY, May 26 (Reuters) - Australian fund manager Perpetual Ltd (PPT.AX) sees 2009 operating profit falling by about half due to sharp declines in financial markets, it said on Tuesday.
In a letter to shareholders, Chairman Robert Savage said operating profit after tax would be between A$60 million ($47 million) and A$70 million, compared to the previous year's A$133.5 million.
