TOKYO, July 15 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average rose 0.3 percent on Wednesday, after better-than-expected quarterly results from Goldman Sachs (GS.N) and Intel (INTC.O) offset concerns about weak consumer demand.
The benchmark Nikkei .N225 gained 29.52 points to 9,291.33.
The broader Topix climbed 0.3 percent to 871.27.
