Taiwan insurer sees $4.2 mln in 09 premiums from China JV
TAIPEI, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Taiwan Life Insurance (2833.TW) expects its new tie-up with China's Xiamen C&D (600153.SS) to have 30 million yuan ($4.2 million) in premiums in 2009, a company executive said on Monday.
The firm, the No.12 insurer in Taiwan, and the Chinese partner announced this month they would jointly invest a total of 240 million yuan ($33.4 million) to form a 50-50 life insurance venture on the mainland.
