TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei stock average rose 0.8 percent on Friday, with tire maker Bridgestone (5108.T) climbing 8.5 percent after it raised its earnings outlook.
The Nikkei rose 81.31 points to 9,877.39 .N225, having risen 0.9 percent for the week.
The broader Topix rose 0.8 percent to 926.80 .
