WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Reserve declined to comment on Tuesday on a report by Bloomberg that the government was considering placing in conservatorship struggling insurer American International Group Inc.
The Fed had no comment on the report, spokeswoman Michelle Smith said.
