NEW YORK (Reuters) - Capital One Financial Corp (COF.N). expects to write off about $4.9 billion of loans in 2008, the company's chief executive said on a conference call on Thursday.
CEO Richard Fairbank said Capital One would likely write down $1.2 billion of loans in the fourth quarter.
