Avanir interim CFO to resign
NEW YORK, Dec 27 (Reuters) - Avanir Pharmaceuticals (AVNR.O) interim chief financial officer Martin Sturgeon will resign from his post early next year, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Avanir also said in the filing that Sturgeon won't be entitled to any severance pay.
The company "reassessed" its personnel needs -- including in its finance and accounting departments -- following its sale of the rights to schizophrenia drug FazaClo, according to the filing. (Reporting by Justin Grant; Editing by Derek Caney)
