Greencore comfortable with EPS consensus

DUBLIN, May 26 (Reuters) - Irish food group Greencore (GNC.I) said on Tuesday that it was comfortable with analyst consensus for full-year earnings per share of 17 cents and that it planned further development in the United States.

"We are comfortable ... as regards EPS," Chief Financial Officer Geoff Doherty said.

"We are really happy with the progress we have made to date and certainly in the next 12 months we'll need to take a further step in the US," Doherty told Reuters in a phone interview, after reporting continued momentum in its US convenience food division.
