Malaysia's Media Prima to pay special dividend

KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 (Reuters) - Malaysian TV, newspaper and advertising group Media Prima Bhd (MPRM.KL) will pay a special dividend of 9 Malaysian cents per share out of the proceeds of a recent asset sale, the company said on Tuesday.

Media Prima sold a piece of leasehold land and a six-storey building for 60 million ringgit ($18.9 million). Media Prima does not pay an ordinary dividend.

Its shares last traded at 2.25 ringgit each.
