Keryx: Panel says drug candidate doesn't raise safety concerns
Dec 6 (Reuters) - Keryx Biopharmaceuticals (KERX.O) said an independent data safety monitoring committee (DSMC) found no safety concerns regarding Keryx's lead drug candidate, Sulonex, for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.
The company said the DSMC had found no reason to recommend alteration or termination of the late-stage trial. The main goal of the late-stage trial is "therapeutic success" at six months.
