Cytomedix says gets FDA clearance to market wound gel

Sept 20 (Reuters) - Biotechnology company Cytomedix Inc (GTF.A) said it got marketing clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market its AutoloGel System, a gel used for healing wounds.

As part of the clearance, the company agreed to a post-market surveillance study to monitor the safety of bovine thrombin as used in the gel. (Reporting by Ramya Dilip in Bangalore)
