Neurocrine Biosciences sees $7 mln severance charge

Dec 18 (Reuters) - Neurocrine Biosciences Inc (NBIX.O) said it expects charges of about $7 million during the fourth quarter of 2007 through the first quarter of 2008 related to job cuts at its San Diego unit.

Earlier, the biopharmaceutical company had said it will cut 130 jobs in San Diego as a part of its restructuring program after the setback of its experimental insomnia drug indiplon. (Reporting by Aditi Samajpati in Bangalore)
