FDA rejects Cortex's request for study of drug candidate
Oct 11 (Reuters) - Cortex Pharmaceuticals Inc (COR.A) said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration rejected the company's request for a mid-stage study of its attention deficit hyperactivity disorder drug candidate, CX717.
The denial is based on results of animal toxicology studies filed by Cortex, the company said in a statement. (Reporting by Sharangdhar Limaye in Bangalore)
