NMT Medical to separate CEO, chairman roles

Jan 30 (Reuters) - NMT Medical Inc (NMTI.O) said it separated the roles of the chairman of the board and chief executive officer, effective immediately, as part of an ongoing strategy.

The medical technology company said John Ahern will continue as its CEO and president. James Mahoney, currently the chairman of the audit committee, will take over as chairman of the board. (Reporting by Avishek Mishra in Bangalore; Editing by Gopakumar Warrier)
