* Cites possible salmonella contamination

* Says product not shipped to all stores

Nov 5 (Reuters) - Pet products retailer PetSmart Inc (PETM.O) said it recalled two beef products from all of its stores in the United States for potential salmonella contamination.

The products, Dentley's bulk cattle hoof and Dentley's 10 pack beef hooves and manufactured by Pet Carousel Inc between Oct. 2 and Nov. 3, had been shipped to PetSmart distribution centres in Illinois, Ohio and Georgia, and then to certain PetSmart stores.

The products were not shipped to every store and PetSmart has instituted a register block to prevent the products from being inadvertently scanned and sold.

Shares of the Phoenix, Arizona-based company were up 1 percent at $24.05 Thursday afternoon on the New York Stock Exchange. (Reporting by Abhishek Takle in Bangalore; Editing by Gopakumar Warrier)
