Indonesia may terminate Newmont mining contract

JAKARTA, Feb 12 (Reuters) - The Indonesian government may terminate Newmont Mining Corp's (NEM.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) mining contract in Nusa Tenggara province after the U.S. firm failed to divest itself of 10 percent of its shares, a senior mines and energy ministry official said on Tuesday.
