Same-store sales up 1.2 pct in February: ICSC

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Retailer sales rose 1.2 percent at stores open at least a year, the International Council of Shopping Centers said on Thursday.

The increase was above the council's forecast range of 0.5 percent to 1 percent, Michael Niemira, chief economist for the council, said during an interview.
