No injuries in Houston refinery fire -info line
HOUSTON, March 10 (Reuters) - No workers were injured or serious damage caused by a small fire Monday night at Valero Energy Corp's (VLO.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) 130,000 barrel per day (bpd) Houston refinery, according to a notice placed on a community information telephone line.
A Valero spokesman said he did not have information immediately available about operations at the Houston refinery.
The fire broke out in "one of the operating units" at 6:45 p.m. local time (2345 GMT) and was quickly put out by firefighters, according to the notice recorded on the Community Awarness Emergency Response line operated by the East Harris County Manufacturers' Association.
