HOUSTON, May 14 (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N) filed notices with state and local pollution regulators of planned flaring at its 150,000 barrel per day (bpd) Los Angeles-area refinery in Torrance, California, on Wednesday.
In a notice filed with the California Office of Emergency Services, Exxon said the refinery continued to operate while the flaring was underway.
Exxon told the South Coast Air Quality Management District the flaring would last from Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday morning. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Michael Urquhart)
